Are you unable to afford typical rents in the area?
Centre County Housing Authority offers multiple programs for low-income individuals and families including Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) and other Affordable Housing options. Learn more about the various programs by calling (814) 355-6750 and dial extension 303 to see if you qualify.

Are you in danger of losing your children due to housing circumstances?
If you are in danger of losing your children or have already lost your children, please contact the Children and Youth Service Agency at (814) 355-6755.

Equal Housing

CCHA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability and familial status. We strive to provide equal access housing opportunities to all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria.

ADA

We encourage persons with disabilities and recipients of HUD assistance to review all ADA laws by visiting HUD’s “People with Disabilities” Web site.

Smoke-Free

CCHA is dedicated to protect the health and safety of its residents and has observed the HUD Smoke-Free Rule by adopting a Smoke-Free Policy as of March 1, 2018.  Outdoor designated smoking areas are available at each site.

The Centre County Housing Authority strives to maintain
affordable housing options for the citizens of Centre County.
Our goal is to provide a secure, clean, and comfortable living
environment for all of our residents.
